Whilst refurbishments are underway at the original site of Hammersmith and Fulham Register Office, the sleek Copper suite in The Clockwork Building is a dedicated space for all town hall civil ceremonies. The Clockwork Building is ultra modern, and the room itself has stripped back concrete ceilings and timber flooring, giving it the urban industrial feel that is currently trending in the wedding market.
The Clockwork Building itself was designed by notorious corporate architect, Richard Seifert, who created more buildings in London than the notorious Sir Christopher Wren. Before its current use, the register office was the famous International Time Recording Company, and so the name ‘Clockwork’ was left in its legacy. Inside the Copper Suite, there is room for up to 58 people and the striking large windows open up the space to overlook the London city skyline. Within 300 metres, there are 20 acres of green space at Ravenscourt Park and more outdoor photography opportunities at Furnival Gardens.
